One Shed Load of Inspiration from Kate (A Year of Dates)

We're midway through November, Christmas is slowly beginning to seep into our lives but before it fully takes over let me introduce you to Kate from @ayearofdates. I'm lucky enough to know her in real life, as well as on the 'gram and can vouch for her all round amazing-ness. She set up A Year of Dates two years ago selling thoughtful gifts for couples, friends and family to enjoy. In her words she's "all about making memories and making more time for the fun things in life" so without further ado, let's see what she's been upto this week...

 

Watching... Old House, New Home and Grand Designs, much to my husbands dismay!

Listening to... George Ezra (when the Trolls soundtrack isn't on!) and Holly Tuckers Conversations of Inspiration podcast, I love it!

Stalking... @luxefamily5, her travels around the world were amazing and made me want to jump on a plane

Talking about... Shopping small this Christmas, it seems to be a topic that keeps popping up wherever I go, which is amazing!

Wondering... What to get a 3 year old who has loads of toys for Christmas!? Ideas welcome...

Going... For afternoon tea at the Midland in Manchester, so delicious and a real treat.

Wearing... Scarves, I have dug out my collection!

Cooking... Pasta... Boring but quick and versatile!! We've got Simply Cook boxes filling our cupboards, I just need to be more organised!

Drinking... Coffee, all the coffee!

Looking after myself by... Giving myself a day off!!

Spending my money on... Jewelry from @themagpiesdaughter

Wishing I had money for... Traveling around the world, or getting the hall decorated... Or both!

Grateful for... Being able to give myself a day off when I choose

Working on... New product ideas, shh it's a secret!

Trying to be a better person by... Buying less plastic and practicing what I preach by shopping with small brands
